What conditions must a qualified fire pump meet?

Publish time:2025-03-31

According to the latest international and Chinese fire safety standards, a qualified fire pump must meet the requirements of 5 points.

The design operating point (the flow and head points that a fire pump needs to meet in its design) is the most basic point. The second point is the zero flow point, where the flow rate is 0 and the pressure must be less than or equal to 1.4 times the pressure at the design operating point. The third point is the low flow point and hump point, which require that the pressure should be less than 0.99-1.01 times the maximum pressure at a flow rate of 0.05-0.1 times the operating condition. The fourth point is the 1.5 times design flow point, and the pressure must be greater than or equal to 0.65 times the design point pressure. The fifth point is the maximum shaft power point, where the water pump must have a power inflection point throughout its operation, and the highest power point is the maximum shaft power point.
